On the occasion of World Wildlife Day (3rd March 2022) MAESA Foundation in
association with Yashwavantrao College of Science Karad organised national level
webinar on ‘Snake Identification,
Misconceptions and Snakebite
Mitigation’. Mr. Vivek Datir worked as
expert for the webinar and guided
participants regarding identification of
snakes of Maharashtra, Misconception and
myths about the snakes and also discussed on
mitigation of snakebites. Principal Dr.
Kengar was the Chairman of the webinar, Dr.
Sushma Kirtane worked as Organizing
Secretary, Dr. Shankar Laware worked as
Convener and Chaitali Kshirsagar
coordinated the Webinar. Total 75
participants including teachers, students and
academicians form various parts of India
attended the webinar.
